ATLAS For Technology & Industry.

Is a start-up based in Morocco and the UK specializing in Electric Vehicles Technology and Industry. Our company comprises a wide range of activities from clean energy R&D to electric vehicles technology development and manufacturing.

ATLAS For Technology & Industry is revolutionizing the global EVs market through its cutting-edge Electric Generator technology that aims to achieve energy efficiency and make electric vehicles more affordable. We are building fully domestically produced electric vehicles at a lower cost for the global market at a specially selected site of 100.000 m2 in Casablanca in Morocco next to OCP Group with a total target investment of £150 Million creating more than 1000 job opportunities in the wider automotive value chain. Construction work is set to launch in summer 2022 and the production of ATLAS’s first “Electric Vehicle” is planned to start at the end of 2023.

ATLAS For Technology & Industry is setting the UK as its leading hub for R&D in the areas of engineering and vehicle design as well as global business development through partnering up with leading academic and technical institutes across England and Wales. We are working with leading strategic partners and suppliers in the UK and Morocco to improve the automotive industry infrastructure for EVs. ATLAS believes that Morocco and the UK represent a strong partnership for developing the global automotive industry in regard to their deep expertise in R&D, manufacturing capabilities, and automotive sector policies.

Hicham is a mathematical Engineer with a financial and technical background, he holds a Master of Engineering from The National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics in Rabat. He held several managerial positions for national and international companies. He served as a Financial analyst for Dubai Investment Group, and Chief Executive Officer for technology companies since 2014. Hicham had a track record of building technology companies and bringing several innovative solutions into the market which are related to the electrical industry & the electronics sector.

Mohammed Yehya EL BAKKALI is a young entrepreneur with global Strategy & business development background. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international business management & Political Economy from Cardiff Metropolitan University & a Master of business administration from Greenwich University in London. Mohammed is also a Certified Financial analyst from the CFI institute and an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional. Mohammed started his International Business & Strategy Consulting career at the age of 19 years old, one year after joining the university, helping overseas companies with foreign direct investment planning and strategy in Morocco and Africa, Mohammed has worked as a consultant for a range of industries including IT, Healthcare, retail and manufacturing as well as for technology startups.

Rachid Yazami is a Moroccan scientist, engineer, and inventor. He is best known for his critical role in the development of the graphite anode for lithium-ion batteries and as the inventor of the graphite anode (negative pole) of lithium-ion batteries. He is also known for his research on fluoride ion batteries. Yazami is the recipient of several research awards, including with NATO (Science for Peace Award), NASA (two Technical Innovation Awards), IBA (Research Award), and Hawaii Battery Conference. Yazami is the winner of the 2012 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers IEEE Medal for Environmental and Safety Technologies. In November 2018, Yazami was the recipient of the Takreem Award for Science and Technological Achievement is considered as the Arab Scientist of the year. And in September 2019, he received the Arab Investor Award in the “Green Application” category. In February 2020, Yazami won the Mohammed bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Excellence in the UAE.

His specialist subject is hydrogen & fuel cells in which he has been active as a financier, adviser, and commentator since 1998. Across these Special Purpose Vehicles, Simon has completed numerous transactions including IPOs, private financings, M&A, and research for world clients including investors such as family offices, companies at all stages of technical, engineering, and commercial development, and local & international government agencies.

He held many senior level roles, while he spent 6 years working between Paris & London. Hicham has a track record in scale up and creating from scratch all Operating & Technology processes. Hicham has spent over 14 years, working for International companies including Renault, Citigroup and Bred in major European countries. He worked in the Automotive area with Renault Car manufacturer at Guyancourt where he gained technical knowledge in managing projects related to spare parts, engineering design, budget monitoring, forecasting and suppliers negotiations.

Lutfi is a financial services entrepreneur. He began his career 40-years career ago in accounting with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young). Through the course of successive appointments with UK firms, Lutfi specialized in financial services.
For the past two decades, Lutfi has negotiated, executed and managed investments and projects in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Slovakia, and added value to portfolio investments through strategic, organizational, operational, and financial leadership
Since 2007 he has focused on researching, evaluating, and selecting projects in the Agriculture, Bio Fuels, and Renewable Energy Sectors in London for inclusion in a Private Equity Fund. Under the current economic climate, Lutfi has been approached to explore and examine the alternative investment class and markets.

Lutfi Talib is currently President of the Singapore Business Group.
